David is currently the client services supervisor with the Sacramento Regional Family Justice Center (SRFJC) and speaks regularly throughout Northern California on domestic violence. He is a regional expert in domestic violence and has testified over 140 times. He is certified in domestic violence by the American Academy of Experts in Traumatic Stress. David is licensed in California as an LCSW and has worked with over one thousand victims of domestic violence over the last 23 years. David spent nearly 37 years  in law enforcement and previously supervised domestic violence detectives with the Sacramento Police Department. He is a contributing writer in domestic violence for Police One News. David is an award-winning writer and a long-standing member of the Public Safety Writer’s Association. In 2003 David co-founded the Sacramento Domestic Violence Prevention Collaboration (DVPC)
